SWE6 Connectors

The SWE6 has various connectors to give you flexibility in connecting to your 1-Wire network and to the I/O pins.

1-Wire Network Connections:
In common with most of our modules the SWE6 features a pair of RJ45 sockets and a 3 pin screw terminal for your 1-Wire network connection. These are located along the bottom edge of the PCB. The RJ45 sockets are wired to the common standard detailed on our Wiring Information page. The +5V GND, AUX GND and 1-Wire GND pins (2, 4 and 6) are all connected to ground. The AUX +5V, +12V and +12V GND pins (6, 7 and 8) are not used by this module but are connected between the RJ45 sockets.

I/O Pin Connections:
To give you flexibility in connecting to the I/O pins there are three different sets of connectors.

All five I/O pins plus +5V and GND are present on the row of screw terminals.

PWN, ADC, OUT and PIO are present on the 0.1" pitch header pins. These allow easy direct connection of up to four R/C type servos to the board. The pins nearest the labels on the board are the data pins, the middle pins are +5V and the pins nearest the right hand edge of the board are GND.

All five I/O are present on the RJ45 socket CN4. The pinout is as follows:
1: ADC
2: +5V
3: PWM
4: OUT
5: GND
6: CNT
7: GND
8: PIO
